Nestled in the pristine premises of the ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Mandir in Rajajinagar, The Higher Taste has become one of Bangalore's most visited vegetarian fine dining restaurants. Serving only sattvic cuisine which is karma free and meant to elevate the consciousness, The Higher Taste has become a haven for those seeking a healthy yet delectable cuisine, with it's tranquil ambience and warm service.
Keeping with the season's mood of the joy of giving, The Higher Taste will be hosting a week long Cakes and Bakes Festival, from December 24, 2010 to January 2, 2011.
The ample buffet spread of 38 items will include the season's specialties that will enhance it to an abundant 45 item regale. Thanks to years of research by the chefs at The Higher Taste, here are traditionally enjoyed recipes from all over the world, in their sattvic version, yet as relishable as ever! For a start, there's Soup in the Bun with which you can munch on walnut lavasas. Then from an array of breads combined with any salad of your choice, the chef will serve up fresh bruchettas! Follow these up with specially crafted hand made pizzas (didn't you know cooking is, after all, an art?) or cheesy calzones.
For dessert, choose from a range of delightful cheese cakes, tarts, mousses, baked Indian sweets and an exclusive Cake of the Day which features one of many originals that you've never heard of before – creations that have been conjured up by the chefs at The Higher Taste. Ever heard of Lemon n Basil, Honey Paprika, Kesar Chandan or Hibiscus Gateaux? Come and try these out to experience a whole new, fresh experience at The Higher Taste's Cakes and Bakes Festival.
